The formation of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the rearmament of Germany confirmed that for the United States, the war in Europe was not entirely over. It still isn’t.
It goes on and on. The “war to end war” of 1914-1918 led to the war of 1939-1945, known as World War II. And that one has never ended either, mainly because for Washington, it was the Good War, the war that made The American Century: why not the American Millenium?
Captive Nations: From Nazi trope and CIA meme to Cold-War trump card
Before and during WWII, Nazi propaganda against Jews and Communists was rife with references to “captive nations.” This meme continued throughout the Cold War and is still alive and well today. The phrase “captive nations” has been a major trope used in many anti-Soviet propaganda assaults, especially those created, funded and led by the CIA and its front groups. Their vitriol about ethnic groups enslaved by the USSR was wielded with vehemence by East Europeans who dominated the diaspora. Their émigré groups were often created, led and organized by ethnonationalists who had allied with Nazi Germany during the war.
Reduce Russia’s population to less than 50M - says former President of Poland
Former President of Poland Lech Walesa, called on the West to reduce Russia’s population to less than 50 million, in an interview with French media, as reported on Monday, July 11.
Poland’s former President spoke on reducing Russia’s population claiming that the West should help Ukraine by “liberating Russia”, stating:
“Even if Ukraine wins this war, in five years we will have the same thing, in 10 years there will be another Putin,” assessed Walesa, as reported by Do Rzeczy.
