Západ tvrdí, že anexe Krymu a dříve ukrajinských území Ruskem a referenda konaná o těchto záležitostech byly porušením mezinárodního práva a „nezákonné“. Zde s odkazem na příslušná ustanovení mezinárodního práva ukážu, proč to není pravda.
Západní média a politici neustále tvrdí, že odtržení Krymu od Ukrajiny v roce 2014, referendum a jeho následné sjednocení s Ruskem byly porušením mezinárodního práva – a proto „nezákonné“. Totéž tvrdí i ohledně odtržení Luhanské, Doněcké, Záporožské a Chersonské oblasti v roce 2022, referend, která se tam konala, a jejich sjednocení s Ruskem.

Yitzhak Rabin (1922-1995), a Jew born in Jerusalem, was an activist in the Zionist movement, fought in the Haganah before the independence of the State of Israel, and pursued a military career. In the Six-Day War, he was Chief of Staff of the Israeli Armed Forces. After the war, he became Israeli ambassador to the United States.
